Dementia Friendly Wem – we’re back!
Dementia friendly communities work best when they’re led by local people. They are vital in helping people live well with dementia and remain part of their community. Small steps, such as raising awareness of dementia, can make a real difference and help people to understand the symptoms as well as diminish the stigma still associated with dementia. It’s easy to do this through attending a Dementia Friends session and other simple actions..
The first public session of 2020 will be at Wem Town Hall on Tuesday, 31st March. The sessions are informal and interactive and will start promptly at 7.00 and will last for about an hour. There is no charge to attend but it is necessary to book in advance as seats are limited. To reserve your place, or places, email email@example.com or pop into Reception at the Town Hall.
We look forward to seeing you!
