Wem Town Hall hosts the Wem Town Market every Thursday morning from 8am, which is extended to the Town Square (next to Co-op supermarket in the main town car park). There are a wide range of traders selling fresh, tasty, local produce as well as cards, gifts, clothing, household items and more. The Town Square also hosts Wem Farmers’ Market, which runs every 2nd Saturday of the month, from March to December, 9am to 12.30pm. For Trader Enquiries please call 01743 367407
Other Fairs and Markets
Throughout the year Wem Town Hall hosts a number of popular Markets showcasing a wide range of local food, drink and crafts available for sale from local and regional traders.
On 10th March the Wem Crafters will be organising a Craft Fayre. If you would like to make a stall enquiry for either of these events please email email@example.com.
In April and September respectively the markets are organised by members of Wem Civic Society, Wem District Garden Club and Wem Transition Town Initiative as the Wem Combine Harvesters. In July the Wem Crafters group will be organising a Craft Fayre on the weekend of the Town’s Sweet pea Show. The next Fayre will take place on Saturday 21st July 2018. On the first Friday of December the Wem Town Hall Community Trust organises a Craft and Food Fayre as part of the Town’s Winter Festival, stalls are located in the Town Hall and at St Peter and St Paul’s Church Hall. We are currently fully booked in both venues for this years event, bookings for next years event on Friday 7th December 2018 will open for applications on 27th August 2018.
